About Us
Our law firm was established in 2007 and incorporated the same year as Mason & Jones, P.A. Attorneys Keith B. Mason and Brian K. Jones founded the firm, with its original location at 147 North Market Street in Washington, North Carolina. The firm expanded during a merger, before resuming its practice in 2015 at its original location and opening an office located at 206 North Fourth Street, Suite 12 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The practice operates from its current locations in Washington and Wilmington.

Amanda D. Sasnett, who worked with the firm as an intern throughout law school, became an associate in 2015. Sasnett is now a partner with the firm. Following Mason’s appointment as District Court Judge in the Second District, the firm continues as Jones & Sasnett, P.A. Ian Alexander Neal joined the practice as an associate in 2018 and Kelyn M. Brame joined the practice as an associate in 2020. Kendall Alligood interned with Jones & Sasnett in 2019 and now returns as an associate following her passing of the bar in 2023.

Jones & Sasnett, P.A. provides legal services in several areas including criminal and traffic matters, family law, real estate closings and deed preparation, wills and estates, general civil litigation, and university student defense. We have handled cases in Beaufort, Martin, Tyrrell, Hyde, Washington, Pitt, Craven, Pamlico, Carteret, Jones, Onslow, New Hanover, Duplin, Pender, Greene, Lenoir, Pasquotank, and Wilson counties – cultivating a broad perspective which helps us meet the needs of our clients. From Wilmington to Washington and across the Inner Banks, we go where our clients need us to go to protect their interests and fight for every consideration allowed by law.
